ABOUT US

Our goal at Western Branch is first and foremost to Love God.  When Jesus was asked, "What is the greatest commandment?"  He answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the greatest commandment, and the second is like it:  You shall Love your Neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:36-39).

Therefore, we exist to Love God...Love People...and Make and Mobilize Disciples in our city and around the world.  No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we would love to have you join our Sunday Worship service, a Sunday School Class, or a Small Group.

LOVING GOD

Each week at Western Branch we seek to Love God through a vibrant worship service as we join with each other to praise God through singing, prayer, giving, and the preaching of God's Word.

LOVING PEOPLE

Relationships are important.  We want to pursue Jesus alongside others by forming healthy, lasting relationships filled with prayer, encouragement, and Bible study.

We also seek to display the love of Jesus in practical ways through local and global missions.  It is true that people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

MAKING DISCIPLES

We desire to produce true followers of Jesus that live out Gospel transformed lives every day.  We do this through Biblical preaching, weekly small groups, and relationships.

Our number one task is to reach people.  Our focus is on reaching the lost with the good news of the Gospel of Jesus through weekly worship, ministry efforts, and personal relationships

FIND YOUR FAITH

The message of the heart of Christianity is really quite simple--simple enough to be outlined in a few pages.  It is a message from the Bible about God and His Son, Jesus.  It is also about life and death, and the choice we all face.  And it all starts with a loving creator: God!
